It’s important for both us and our clients to stay organised during the period before, during and after sales training in order to effectively track progress, monitor figures and be aware of any problems.
Getting to know Basecamp
We use software called Basecamp for management of each of our training projects with different clients
Basecamp is online software, meaning it runs on a website instead of being installed onto our or our clients computers. This means you do not need to pay for any additional software or arrange for anything to be set up on your computers. Basecamp can be accessed securely anywhere, from any computer.
The benefits of using an online system like Basecamp for project management is that it provides a central location for all files relating to each project and keeps track of all actions and communications automatically.
This means that everyone has access to the latest version of any file, removing the possibility of different versions of the same document existing at the same time and improving accuracy.
It also reduces the time spent searching for various items in different places, which allows us to spend more of our time on project work, ultimately saving our clients money.
Basecamp allows us to store files, keep track of information, set up to do lists, assign tasks to different team members, schedule meetings, send messages, set deadlines, and centralise feedback.
We understand that our clients don’t want to take extra time to learn how to use a new software system and Basecamp is very simple and easy to use. There is a 2-minute quick start video that runs through the main functions of the software and we’ll also make sure that we spend time with all team members who are given access to Basecamp in case you have any questions.
Each member of your team will be given a unique username and password for Basecamp, which you can change if required. We can also invite your partners or anyone else who you think should have access to project files and we can set up individual permissions to restrict access to certain areas if necessary.
