Three of the most interesting and useful months of my life

“During the summer I had the chance to spend three fantastic months from 1st of April until the 30th of June 2010 as an intern at LiveseySolar Practice Builders in London. The three months were one of the most interesting and useful months in my life.
My Managers Laura Livesey and Rod Solar gave me the possibility to work with them side by side although English is my second language and every day since I started working with them,they were able to assist me with my grammar and pronunciation.They also helped me to develop my Marketing skills. From a Marketing perspective, I learnt a lot of new and useful things. During my internship, I worked as a Marketing Assistant with a specific focus on Healthcare Marketing. Besides working on creative projects i.e. web design, blog page design, event leaflets and corporate communication, I also developed communication design strategies. I was also given the opportunity to communicate with our clients directly as a Project Manager on my various creative projects. In addition to this, I was offered training on effective and successful communication. We always worked in a team environment and we had the opportunity to share our experience, knowledge, learn from each other, teach each other and use our strengths that resulted in the best outcomes on each project.
I had a wonderful personal and work related experience and I will never regret that I made the decision to take on an internship at LiveseySolar Practice Builders. It was a great challenge and a wonderful time.”
