Healthcare Business Internship in London
Ruhi had an amazing time during her internship at LiveseySolar. In this post she describes her daily tasks, projects and why working with Rod and Laura is a great opportunity.
“My internship in London at LiveseySolar Practice Builders has provided me with an invaluable opportunity to gain insight into the competitive healthcare business field, especially in terms of learning how to aid healthcare companies in boosting their conversion rates from visitors to clients through two mediums: sales training and internet marketing.
During my time interning at LiveseySolar with the team, my projects have been centered around search engine optimisation (SEO) for internet marketing. Using techniques geared towards this goal, I monitor how the most popular keyword searches relate to the target of interest: impact on the ranking of a website on search engines.
By tracking this information on a daily basis, I am able to see how the accessibility of the company’s website can play a role in improving or hindering their ability to obtain visitors and retain them.
In addition to tracking and analysing SEO data, I have also spent a significant amount of time working on improving current sales training programs put in place for patient care coordinators.
“Working to find ways to most effectively handle company advertisements & design sales training to boost overall sales”
This step can seem very basic but it is, in my opinion, arguably one of the most important ways to attract or more importantly detract potential clients because it is their first face-to-face exposure to the company and so making a good impression is crucial.
Working with Rod and Laura has been an exceptional part of my experience, given their ability and desire to teach and help.
In addition to gaining this close-up experience in the business management side of healthcare, I have also been able to explore the truly amazing city and its British culture during this internship. There are many pubs and authentic restaurants right around the corner from the office and the famous Tower Bridge is merely a five-minute walk from work!”
