BENEFITS

Apply your skills and theoretical knowledge to a real-world setting

An internship with LiveseySolar provides individuals with the opportunity to gain hands-on work experience that you just can’t get in the classroom.

First-time job seekers and career changers aren’t usually desirable candidates in the workforce, but we are happy to train suitable applicants as interns and give them the experience they would need to get a job.

Gain valuable work experience

Employers are usually more concerned with your work experience than your qualifications and internships are often the only way to get the work experience you need to secure a job, so they’re a vital part of your CV.

Many employers prefer or require applicants who have done an internship or relevant work experience and in many of the more competitive job markets, it is essential to set you apart from the others.

MORE BENEFITS

Join a network of experienced people to support your professional development

We always work in a team environment and we give our interns the opportunity to share our experience, knowledge, learn from our staff and improve strengths to achieve the best outcomes for each project. You’ll also join a network of all of our past interns that keep in touch to help each other in their future careers.

Identify your top 5 talents

All of our interns go through our Talent Finder programme, which helps them identify their top 5 talents out of the 34 individual talents most commonly found in the working world. This then allows us to create an internship that is most suited to building on the intern’s unique talents.

WHAT OUR INTERNS SAY

“I’ve really got a very good overview of many different things. Marketing communications, online marketing and also sales.”

Watch intern Julia from Germany talk about her work experience at LiveseySolar.

EVEN MORE BENEFITS

Improve your English skills

We hire interns from all around the world (Thailand, Korea, Germany, Spain, France, Mexico, etc) and welcome talented intern applicants that are looking to offer their talents, and also improve their written and spoken English at the same time. We want people to learn as much as possible from choosing to intern with us. Giving individuals the chance to improve their English skills is hugely important to us too.

Experience a welcoming and safe office environment

We bring passion to our work. We love working in private healthcare and striving hard to achieve success. The autonomy of the role means that you will never be bored, you will be supported in your learning, encouraged to try new things, and will learn skills you didn’t even know you had!

STILL MORE BENEFITS?

We’ll cover your transportation costs

Although our internships are unpaid, we will pay for your travel, supply breakfast and snacks in the office and take you out for regular drinks at our local gourmet restaurant / bar!

We provide you extensive training

We’re professional trainers, and use these same talents to train our interns in the best possible ways. You’ll get days of induction training before and after you start, and we document everything we do so that you’ll always have instructions on how to do your job at hand.

Decide if a Career in marketing is right for you

If you’re not sure if marketing is the right career for you, doing an internship is a great way to try it out. Our internships are short-term (3-6 months), so you can test your future career without committing and find out if it is a career that will satisfy you.

WOW! THE BENEFITS DON’T STOP!

Networking Opportunities

Internships are a great way to meet people in your field. Even if you have experience, knowing people never hurts. An internship with LiveseySolar will allow you to meet people who might help you land a job later on and give you the contacts in the industry you’re trying to break into. Plus, references from people in the industry will really add weight to your application.

Gain Confidence

Getting experience is a great way to build your confidence. What’s more, if you have an impressive CV, you will be more confident in your chances of securing a job. After you’ve done an internship, if an interviewer asks if you know how to do something, you won’t say “um, yes, I think I would be able to do that”, but can say “absolutely!” and supplement your claims with examples.

You’ll learn what it takes to work within a successful small company if you use your time wisely and ask a lot of questions.

Many of our previous interns have either gone on to find their dream job after completing an internship with us (For example, our interns have found jobs at world-known brands and large consulting companies).

We like to say that we’re big on the outside, but small on the inside. We usually have about a dozen people working with LiveseySolar.

LiveseySolar is a small business with big abilities. We serve a small niche in a competitive marketplace. Our customers have similarities in what they do, but they are from every corner of the globe and come in all shapes and sizes.

We believe being involved in a small company means that your opinion counts and the work you do has a real impact. This means that unlike in some larger companies, your internship will not involve making countless photocopies or coffees. You will participate and contribute. You will learn a lot. You’ll get a chance to dip your toe in a multitude of different activities.

As well as working on creative projects i.e. web design, blog page design, leaflet design and corporate communication strategy, I also developed communication design strategies. – Michelle N., Marketing Intern
