Project Description
Retinal specialist gets a one-page website
Professor Michaelides sees private patients at Clinica London on Harley Street, and as a Consultant Ophthalmologist, he sees NHS patients at Moorfields Eye Hospital, one of the largest and oldest eye hospitals in the world. His research and teaching revolve around retinal disease, which is the commonest cause of visual loss in the western world. Retinal disease impacts children, those of working age and the retired population.
The challenge
Michel Michaelides wanted a one-page website to support his practice development and research activities. The project had to come in at below the average cost of websites yet still look professional and provide a good user experience. We had to also integrate forms and contact numbers to flow directly to receptionists where he practices privately, Clinica London.
The solution
We developed a one-page website that you can see above in the video or online. The site
- professionally presents Professor Michel Michaelides
- loads quickly
- looks fantastic on mobile devices like phones and tablets
- presents a lot of information in an easy to digest format
- converts visitors to leads by seamlessly directing them to Clinica London receptionists
The results
The site launched in August 2017 (3 months before writing this post) and early results are promising regarding conversion rates and dwell time. To get a full picture of the results, and how they compare with Michel’s page on Clinica London’s website, visit our case study post.
